Here's our timeline...

: 2 guys, 1 mac, 1 PC, £2000 in the bank and a whole heap of faith. That was all we had.
: 4 staff, 3 macs, 1 PC, more clients, more money in the bank and a growing reputation for building good websites.
: There's 5 of us now and we've got loads of kit, still the same number of clients, but we're doing much more for them than websites. We now handle more aspects of the marketing mix including design for print, advertising and branding.
Oh, and we now have a proper coffee machine and a big stereo.
: We've grown up a bit. We still wear jeans and we still don't work weekends, but the business has changed. In fact it is a business now. We have a strategy for growth and we have a strategic department for planning for our clients' media.
We now handle nearly every aspect of marketing for our clients. We have a production studio, a web studio and a design studio. We are in new offices now.
There are 9 of us. We work late into the night and that coffee machine is getting hammered.
: The internet has grown up a bit. We are now developing media strategies that all lead back to our clients websites in ways that couldn't have been imagined five years ago.
We have a bunch of clients ranging from one man businesses to enterprises.
We have metamorphosed from a web design company to an end to end, digital communications agency.
We still don't wear suits.
: Our clients have grown up a bit.
We're doing TV, we're doing radio, we're doing websites, e-commerce, advertising and direct communications, but we've realised that all of this is pointless unless the client's brand is right.
We are a full service marketing company which starts with brand focus.
Our motto is "Brand First".
: There are 13 of us now.
We are doing work all over the UK and sometimes overseas.
Our work is starting to get recognised (and copied).
We have opened a new development department concentrating solely on complex website functionality.
We now work weekends when we have to but we still don't wear suits.
: Our clients are visibly benefiting from increased sales from web-driven campaigns and we're so busy we now work shifts.
The coffee machine is almost as mission critical as our web-servers.
: We are now seen as a big digital agency. We're not really, but sometimes people confuse capability with size.
There are 16 of us now and the offices are always buzzing.
Our clients now use us as their outsourced marketing departments.
Social networking is starting to burn slowly and as always we are first on the scene, setting our clients up on these exciting new platforms.
: Oh no. It's a recession.
There are still 16 of us as we plan to tighten up and brave the economic situation.
We focus on delivering extremely high R.O.I. for our clients using the most cost effective methods of digital marketing. We have our busiest year ever. What recession?
We open a photography department.
: We are 10 years old. There are 17 of us.
The economy is still struggling but things are definitely better.
We still don't wear suits, but we have just bought a new coffee machine. Pop in and try it out!
