On the Road with Ingram

Having recently reviewed their marketing strategy, Ingram Motor Group has just appointed Paligap as their creative and marketing agency.

The company is looking to increase their brand awareness, sales and footfall through their sites in Heathfield and work is already well underway in developing a refreshing advertising campaign and well engineered marketing schedule.

The development of a new company website will focus on providing comprehensive listings of quality used cars and information on the full range of services provided by the group.

Ingram Motor Group is an official VW and Skoda dealership who offer a full sales and after sales service. Additionally, the company is an authorised service agent for Audi.

World Famous Treasure Launches on World Wide Web

As part of its brand communications brief, Paligap has launched the official website of Dumfries House - one of Britain’s most important stately homes.

The website will serve as an information base for Dumfries House, which was saved for the nation in a £45 million deal by a consortium of charities and heritage bodies led by The Prince of Wales. The site contains details of the historic Adam-designed Palladian mansion, its unique collection of Chippendale furniture and 2,000 acre estate, as well as providing up-to-date facts about the Estate’s exciting future plans.

Work on the website follows the creation of a new corporate identity by Paligap, based on the Adam Brothers’ 1754 signed contract drawings for the south elevation.

Another New Agency Client

We are delighted to announce that we have been selected and appointed as the Agency of choice by yet another major Scottish organisation, the West of Scotland Loan Fund (WSLF).

Set up in 1996, having secured initial funds from the European Regional Development Fund, WSLF is a unique consortium of local authorities working together to stimulate the creation and growth of businesses within the west of Scotland, the aim being that this will lead to a strengthened economy both in terms of jobs and wealth. The Fund assists businesses that have sound development proposals but who may have difficulty in raising the necessary funding from the usual commercial sources. WSLF has established itself as one of Scotland’s main gap funding providers.

Over the last eleven years, the Fund has been providing loan finance to over 1000 small and medium sized businesses spread across 12 different local authorities within south west Scotland.

Having worked on a number of ad hoc projects with Fund Manager Andrew Dickson and his team, we have now strategically planned a long-term advertising and marketing strategy for the Fund to help them reach new clients and businesses throughout the 12 Local Authorities they work within.

Paligap Launch the all new Doig + Smith identity...

After 3 months of research, drafting and preparation, Paligap have launched the new Doig and Smith identity to a crowd of 80 at the Doig + Smith Away Day in Perthshire.
The new identity is based on the Imago typeface and red, black and white were chosen as the colourways.

Paligap worked very closely with the board and marketing personnel of Doig + Smith to ensure that both they and their clients would be comfortable with the change of identity.
Naturally, following the identity, came the stationery, brochures, presentation folders, corporate video and website, all of which have been delivered apart from the website which will go live at then end of October.

Account Manager, Kenneth Dunsmuir said “Working with Doig + Smith has been a delight. We are very pleased with the work we have created and pleased with where it positions Doig + Smith in their marketplace. Although, by no means, was this the largest rebranding job we have undertaken, it was one of the most complex due to the amount of research and production and the sheer volume of material needing replaced, mixed with the age and heritage of the company. We had to get it right and I think we nailed it.”
